Sunstone Fire Racks are multi-functional:
1 Cooking with wood
Barbecue Steak and Burger
Cooking stove
When burning wood in the fireplace, Sunstone Fire Racks can be used as a cook stove or barbecue. The smoke from the wood gives food a rich flavor. For best results we suggest placing double folded aluminum foil on top of the griddle before cooking food. Direct contact from the flame and smoke will sear the food too quickly before it is evenly cooked throughout.
2 Coal/briquette/Pellet burning
Sunstone Fire Rack has been designed with a deeper burning grate which can used for burning coal or briquette. Pellets can also be used when a metal mesh is laid underneath.
3 Decorating
Sunstone Fire Racks can also be used as a flower rack in summer or where fire place is used for decoration only.
4 Candle stand
Bring some romantic atmosphere to your living room, try put some candles on the rack.
5 Using Gas logs
A variety of gas logs can be used on Sunstone Fire Racks, ash pan should be removed when putting burner under the rack. On Charlottes, the ash pan can be separated from the drawer front.
Safety Precautions:
Children and youngsters should be kept away from open fire at all times. When cooking always use oven mitt or similar when removing cookware from racks - never leave fireplace unattended. Never remove ash pan whilst fire is still hot. Always check material used for burning is safe for open fire cooking.
